Llandrillo

Llandrillo is a small village situated on the B4401 between Bala and Corwen in the old county of Meirionethshire in North Wales UK
St Cadfan, Abbot, together with Ithel Hael, crosses from Brittany to land at Rhos in Wales. From that spot, Ithel Hael's son, St.Trillo wandered, founding a church near where the Ceidiog and the Dee meet. The date is thought to be late sixth century.

Llan = church,     Llandrillo = St.Trillo's church
